A few weeks back I attended the 2018 Latin American Music Awards (they’re the Latino version of the American Music Awards) that took place here in Los Angeles (Hollywood to be exact) and wanted to share my outfit with you. I received a lot of compliments on it as well as questions so I’m sharing deets on the outfit with you here!
The red dress with lace detail is from Target. I purchased it in Miami a few months prior to moving back to Los Angeles. I didn’t need it nor was I looking for a dress. I simply bought it because it was on clearance and I figured it would come in handy to use at some point. Months passed by and I never wore it. I eventually moved back to LA and obviously brought it with me still without knowing when I would use it until I knew I’d be attending the awards. I figured it would be a perfect dress for the occasion since these awards aren’t that formal. I paired them with some rose gold heels I also purchased at Target, on clearance as well! Unfortunately, the dress is no longer available but the shoes are, albeit at regular price but it IS Target so they’re not expensive anyway. Note that they’re only available online though. I loved the dress and the fit because it was very comfortable to use throughout the night, first at the red carpet, then the awards show and ending at the after party. Wanna know a secret? The whole look was under $25! Target for the win again!
