Back in NYC post-COVID and I'm sharing all about my experience, as well as my stay at Hotel 50 Bowery.

The last time I visited New York was earlier this year in January, and because of work, the plan was to make a trip to the City every month. Of course, 2020 had different plans in mind as we all know. Finally after months of quarantine at home, I started to travel, locally, at least. Made a couple of trips here in California, and finally in September felt comfortable enough to book a trip to New York. I have friends in the City so I knew firsthand that even though NY had once been the epicenter of COVID, it was now one of the safest places to be in the nation. Because of that, I felt safe enough to visit.

On my last visit to the City, I stayed at Hotel 50 Bowery and absolutely loved it, which is why I knew if I was returning, it had to be to this hotel again. I reached out to the hotel to coordinate my stay and was very much pleased with my second experience there, which is why I wanted to share it with you guys in case you’re looking for a place to stay on your next visit to New York. I especially want to highlight all of the safety measures in place, which made me feel even more safe about traveling during a pandemic.

The safety measures in place don’t end at the lobby of the hotel or the front desk. You can see them everywhere around the hotel, from the elevators to the gym to your room!

Again, the hotel made me feel super safe about traveling during a pandemic, and made me love it even more. The room was just as beautiful and comfortable as I remembered it, and I loved staying here during my trip to New York, so much so that I’ll be staying there again on my next trip later this month.

Hotel 50 Bowery is a boutique hotel located in the heart of Lower Manhattan which gives you easy access to explore some of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods, including SoHo, Little Italy, the Lower East Side and Brooklyn.

This time around I had a king bed room with city view, an upgrade compliments of the hotel and the views did not disappoint, especially with those ceiling to floor windows!

I also got to explore Hotel 50 Bowery’s onsite culinary option—The Crown, which happens to have a rooftop bar featuring handcrafted cocktails, lite bites and amazing views of all of NYC.

Because of the proximity to the hotel and because I had yet to visit, one of the days I was in the City, I decided to head to the One World Trade Center Museum and Memorial. It was about a 25 minute walk which wasn’t bad and I enjoyed the walk there because I got to discover a new area of New York.

Many have asked me how New York looked post-COVID and I must say that it looks great! The City has made sure to implement safety measures just like Hotel 50 Bowery that make you feel super safe about being in the city. There still aren’t too many tourists visiting so it felt nice to be amongst so many locals just enjoying the city and its beautiful views. Restaurants, just like in LA, are still closed for indoor seating, but their patio seating is open, which I loved! Lots of eating and drinking as well as enjoying the great city of New York happened on this trip, but the great experience wouldn’t have been the same had it not been for Hotel 50 Bowery and their great hospitality. Highly recommended for your next trip to the Big Apple! Definitely heading back soon…later this week to be exact! 😉

THANK YOU, HOTEL 50 BOWERY, FOR AN AMAZING STAY! YOU MADE MY TRIP EVEN MORE UNFORGETTABLE. CAN’T WAIT TO BE BACK!
