As mentioned in a previous post, during my trip to Palm Springs with Chevrolet, we stayed at the Pioneertown Motel located literally in the middle of nowhere, but was one of the coolest experiences I’ve had.

The hotel only has 14 rooms which means if you go with a large group, you can book the whole hotel, which is what happened during our trip.

The rooms are like cabins but with all of the amenities, which is what I loved about this hotel. Just because you’re in the middle of the desert, doesn’t mean you have to compromise your hotel-type amenities. I loved the decor because it really felt like a cabin!

A few steps away from the hotel is Pappy & Harriet’s, a restaurant which is literally the only place within miles of the hotel. The food is absolutely delicious and the music shows they offer are pretty cool, too. Definitely a must visit if staying at the hotel, and even if you’re not, it’s worth visiting!

I also loved being able to see the beautiful sunrise and sunset from outside of my room. There’s nothing like being able to look at a clear sky and see actual stars.

Next to the hotel and the restaurant is a set that has actually been used in movies as a replica of the Wild West. Pretty cool photo ops should you go with anyone who can take your pics lol. By the time I visited, the whole team had left since I would be heading back to LA and none of them would, so I ended up just taking pics of the set as well as other areas in Pioneertown.

There is an actual working US Post Office in Pioneertown and it is so cute!

With Spring and Summer just around the corner, heading to Pioneertown in the Palm Springs area, is a great option for a weekend getaway!
