I recently got back from a trip to Cabo San Lucas and while we were there, we visited a small town called Todos Santos located about an hour away. I had heard about this town being super cute and a must visit when in Cabo so we decided to head out there and see what it was all about. We booked a tour for one of the days we were there and on the way there we stopped by a coffee place that roasts their own coffee beans and is organic. It was delicious! It was the best mocha vanilla latte I’ve ever tasted; definitely a must visit when passing by. The place is called Baja Beans Roasting Company.
Once we were back on the road, we stopped at a little shop on the side of the road where they make textiles; blankets, rugs, bags, etc. It actually reminded me of my grandma because she would buy these kinds of items and have them around the house. We also met the granddaughter of the owners, Violeta, or as she later said, Violet lol. She was the cutest! We also got to chat with one of the workers there and he explained and showed us how these items get made there with their machines.
We arrived in the town fairly quickly and then went off to explore on our own while the tour guide waited for us. While it did somewhat remind me of Sayulita, I will say that I love Sayulita more. Todos Santos is a little smaller with less things to do and it isn’t a beach side town either, albeit the beach in Sayulita isn’t the best, there is something about a beach side town that makes it more unique.
It definitely is a cute little town that you should visit when in Cabo, but of course, as I stated in my post about Cabo, this place is also very Americanized so be prepared to spend money in US Dollars (which doesn’t favor us) and speak English. If you read my post, you know that’s not really my thing so this wasn’t necessarily my favorite place either, but it was cute and I’m glad I got to visit! Check it out next time you’re close by!
