The enchantment of the Pink Satellite Studios

On my last trip with Chevrolet, you guys might remember, I was still living in Miami, and I was invited on a trip to Los Angeles and Palm Springs, and talked about the whole trip here. In that post, I also mentioned that we visited the Pink Satellite Studios located in the middle of the desert in Joshua Tree, CA, and now I’m sharing more with you guys about the residential studio. It took me a while to get around to writing this post, but it’s finally here. A lot of you guys had questions regarding it, and I hope this post answers them.

Once we arrived in Palm Springs, it was about a 45 minute drive to the residential studio, and the crazy thing is that there were no directions given to us. Once we arrived to a specified location, we were to follow the green arrows that had been put in place for us. Each arrow was also accompanied by a person in case we missed it. Note, these green arrows aren’t there at all times, they were placed there for us specifically; I’m sure they would give you specific directions to get there once you book with them.

When you’re finally about to enter the area surrounding the studio, there’s a sign indicating the road is closed. We continued as directed and finally made it to the house.

The residence is separate from the studio because the recording studio is located inside what used to be the garage. Once you look out across the desert, you literally cannot see any other property for miles because the residence and recording studio are really located in the middle of the desert.

Thankfully we were allowed to take pics of both places so I am able to share with you what it looks like inside. I must mention though that this is not an Airbnb that you can rent and stay in. This is a recording studio that can be rented for a specific amount of time, such as if you’re a recording artist and would like either the privacy to write your songs or record them. The residence can also be rented if you decide to completely live there during the process or you can just rent the studio. Another option is to rent the residence to shoot music videos or have actual photo shoots there. Both are super exclusive and very private so the address isn’t listed anywhere; it is only provided to you once you book the studio and/or the residence. Talk about fancy, huh?

THE RESIDENCE

The decoration is beautiful and impeccable. It’s fancy and luxurious, and all I can say is that it must be amazing to stay here in the middle of the desert!
