San Francisco getaway for Yandel’s Tour (Bilingual Post)

Hey, guys!!! I know these are the posts that many of you have been waiting for, so here they are! As most of you know, I manage Wisin y Yandel’s OFFICIAL worldwide fan club as well as Yandel’s OFFICIAL fan club now as a solo artist and because of that, I decided to join Yandel on the first leg of his US tour as a solo artist. The tour started in San Francisco, continued to Las Vegas and then made its way to Los Angeles. His family and a family friend would also be joining him for that part of the tour so we decided to make a little vacation out of it. I got in contact with them and planned our little getaway.

For this specific post, I will be detailing our first day there as well as share some pictures with you. However, please note that out of respect for him and his family as well as for their privacy, I will not be posting pictures of them that have not already been made public. Hope you guys understand. With that said, lets get started!

Hola! Sé que muchos de ustedes han estado esperando estos posts, así que aquí los tienen. Como sabrán, yo soy la presidenta a nivel mundial del fan club oficial de Wisin y Yandel y también manejo el fan club oficial de Yandel ahora como solista, así que por eso decidí acompañarlo en la primera parte de su gira por Estados Unidos. La gira empezaría en el estado de California en la ciudad de San Francisco, luego pasaría por Las Vegas y seguiría a Los Angeles. Su familia y unas amistades también lo acompañarían así que de paso decidimos tomarnos unas mini vacaciones. Me puse en contacto con ellos y planeamos nuestro viaje.

En este post estaré hablando en detalle de nuestro primer día allá y también les compartiré unas fotos. Les dejo saber de antemano que por respeto a la privacidad de Yandel y la de su familia, no estaré compartiendo fotos que no hayan sido ya publicadas. Espero puedan entender. Bueno, comenzemos!

I was scheduled to leave early on Tuesday morning of that week (the tour started on Thursday), but once I got to the airport, I was informed the flight had been delayed, not by much, just an hour, but nonetheless, delayed. The good thing was that I now had time to eat some breakfast. Finally it was time to board and I was on my way to San Francisco. San Francisco is one of my favorite cities in the country, so any time I can get away to visit it, I do, which is why I took advantage of this tour and joined them. I arrived in San Francisco in about an hour and went straight to my hotel. Unfortunately, not everyone had arrived yet because one of their flights had also been delayed. I stayed in my hotel resting until late afternoon which is when they picked me up. Once we were all together, we decided to head over to the Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf area to walk around but once we got there, it was really cold and not all of us had proper attire, so we  just decided to drive by and make a few pit stops to take pictures.

Estaba supuesta a salir bien temprano por la mañana del martes de esa semana que empezaría la gira, pero al llegar al aeropuerto, me enteré que el vuelo se había retrasado, no por mucho, pero se había retrasado. Lo bueno de eso es que ahora me daba tiempo de desayunar algo. Después que desayuné y esperé un poco a que saliera el vuelo, por fin salí. San Francisco es una de mis ciudades favoritas de Estados Unidos y siempre que me puedo escapar a visitarla, lo hago, por eso es que me apunté para acompañarlos en esta parte de la gira. Después de una hora de vuelo, llegué a mi destino y me fui directo al hotel. Desafortunadamente, faltaba gente por llegar ya que sus vuelos también se habían retrasado, así que me quedé en mi habitación descansando hasta que en la tarde pasaron por mi. Ya todos juntos decidimos dar una vuelta para que ellos conocieran la ciudad. Pensábamos ir al área turística de Pier 39 y Fisherman’s Wharf pero hacía mucho frío y no todos llevaban la ropa adecuada, así que decidimos solo pasear en el carro y parar una que otra vez a tomar fotos.

After that, we headed to In-N-Out because we were starving! Not only that, but they had never tried In-N-Out and since it is practically a must when visiting California, I took them so they could check it out. Of course, they loved it! Along the way, we stopped by a candy shop and went a little overboard as you can tell by the picture lol!

Después de eso, nos fuimos a comer a In-N-Out, que es una cadena de restaurantes de hamburguesas bien famosa en California. Como ellos nunca habían comido ahí, los llevé ya que no se puede dejar de probar cuando se visita California porque es tan sabroso! Les encantó! De camino pasamos por una tienda de dulces y compramos un poco de más como pueden ver por la foto jijiji!

After doing a little shopping and because we were already in the area, we had to stop by Ghirardelli (sorry, I don’t have a picture I can share)!! It’s so good! After we sipped on some hot chocolate and talked about life lol for about an hour, we called it a night. We needed to get some rest for the next day.

Ya que estábamos en el área, no podíamos dejar de pasar por Ghirardelli! Ghirardelli es una tienda y restaurante que vende postres y bebidas hechas con los chocolates Ghirardelli. Son una delicia (desafortunadamente, no tengo una foto que les pueda mostrar)!! Después de compartir un rato, decidimos dar por terminada la noche ya que queríamos descansar para el día siguiente.
