Hey, guys! Last week I took a getaway with my friends to Palm Springs just for the weekend. Palm Springs has become our yearly weekend getaway for a few years now and we usually go just to relax and soak in the sun and the pool, and of course, squeeze in some shopping. During this visit, we stayed at the Renaissance Esmeralda Indian Wells Resort & Spa. This was our first time staying there since we usually stay at the Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel, but this time we wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle, if you will, of Palm Springs. We wanted more of a relaxing retreat, so we opted for the one in Indian Wells. A few days prior to our arrival, we called and requested a pool view room but we were surprised to find out that not only did we get a pool view room, we were on the 7th floor right in the middle of the resort and had a spectacular view! The room was also great and spacious! The bathroom was huge compared to other hotel bathrooms. One thing that I loved and found so cool was that the closet in the room connected to the bathroom, it was like a secret entrance lol! The resort was amazing! The room, the beds, and the pool! I can’t rate the spa because I didn’t get a chance to use any of the services, nor did I get a chance to visit their café. Their café closes kind of early and that’s the only inconvenience I found at the resort because considering we didn’t have any other café/coffee shop close by, they should stay open a little later for the resort guests, but overall, we had a great stay! We’re definitely coming back!!
