Hey, guys! For this beauty post, I wanted to share with you some of my favorite beauty items for the month of October. They’re items that I personally have used and like the results and because of that, recommend them. Let me know if you use them already or are going to use them and what your thoughts are on them.
Besos, Becky!
L’Oreal Youth Code-Texture Perfector Serum Concentrate
This serum works great in conjunction with my favorite product that I will detail next. This serum says it visibly tightens pores, diminishes lines and refines & perfects skin. I really like this product because it leaves your skin really soft to the touch and I saw a difference in the size of my pores. The small lines also diminished somewhat after a few applications. It is suitable for all skin types. This serum should be applied prior to the day/night cream from the same line every day and night. The product retails for about $19.99 depending on where you purchase it. It can be found at any drugstore.
L’Oreal Youth Code-Texture Perfector Day/Night Cream
This one also serves the same purpose as the previous item and they are meant to be used together day and night for best results. I originally starting using this one only and although I did notice a change, when I started using both of them, the change was much more noticeable. After cleansing your face, apply the serum and then this day/night cream. It also serves as a good base for your makeup in the morning. The product retails for about $19.99 depending on where you purchase it. It can be found at any drugstore.
L’oreal Revitalift Miracle Blur Instant Skin Smoother (Oil-Free)
Now this product is one that I absolutely love! I use this product everyday along with the previously mentioned products and the results are very noticeable! This is not a moisturizer and is a little more than a primer; it is a skin smoother. It says it instantly erases the look of lines, wrinkles and pores. It is amazing! It comes in regular and oil-free. I have combination skin so I have to use the oil-free version of it. I believe the regular one looks more like a cream, but the oil-free one is more of a clear kind of gel. To the touch it feels like a primer and as soon as you apply it, it immediately makes your skin feel very smooth and really does perfect your skin. Pores are visibly reduced as well as any fine lines you may have. It is an excellent base for your foundation as it offers better coverage. It can be worn alone or under makeup, on your whole face or in smaller amounts for a targeted application. I have used it alone as well and it does change the texture of your skin. It also makes your skin look more even. The product retails for about $19.99 depending on where you purchase it. It can be found at any drugstore.
Neutrogena Wave Sonic Spinning Power-Cleanser
This is a 2-speed spinning power-cleanser that says it cleans up to 50x better than regular cleansing alone. It has two cleansing speeds: a gentle daily cleansing and a deep cleansing. The starter kit comes with a few foaming pads to get you started. You can later purchase the foaming pads by themselves. You use one pad every time you use the cleanser and then discard it. It’s sort of a velcro kind of pad that attaches to the head of the power cleanser, you then run it under water to activate the cleansing pad and gently massage over your face. I use this cleanser maybe once or twice a week because it is a power cleanser. It is a great cleanser! It really does deep clean your skin and leaves it very soft without over-drying it. I like it because it’s not as expensive as those other spinning power cleansers and does a really good job in deep cleaning your skin especially if you use heavy makeup. The product retails for about $19.99 and the foaming pads retail about $6.49 depending on where you purchase them. They can be found at any drugstore.
