Hey, guys! As I stated in my previous post, I recently came back from Mexico and I wanted to share some of the pictures I took while traveling there. I was in Mexico City for a few days and a few more in Puebla. In this post, I will only talk about and post pictures of Mexico City. There will be another post dedicated to Puebla. Mexico City is one of my favorite cities to visit because it is such a cosmopolitan city. It is a city full of culture, great food and history. Many people have an erroneous preconceived notion of Mexico in general, but more so of Mexico City, and that’s something that really bothers me. Being part Mexican (my dad is Mexican) lets me understand a little bit more of how Mexico is in reality. I visit somewhat frequently to see my family who lives there as well as to vacation and since learning about the history and culture of a country is something that I love to do, I’ve taken the time to learn more about Mexico. We should all take the time to learn and educate ourselves about other countries and cities and not feed into any misconceptions that might exist out there. This is why I chose to share some of these pictures. If you are one of those persons, I hope these pictures change your outlook and encourage you to visit. I took all of these pictures during a tour we had of the city. Hope you enjoy them and see why every time I leave, I cant wait to go back!
