Last weekend I was invited to attend the opening day of Knott’s Spooky Farm, a non-scare celebration for kids that takes place at Knott’s Berry Farm. There’s Knott’s Scary Farm for adults and Knott’s Spooky Farm for kids; a family friendly event. As usual, parents cannot dress up but kids are encouraged to wear costumes to get the full experience of this daytime event which is geared towards kid ages 3-11.
Upon arrival, the kiddies will receive a special bag which they can use for the Ghost Town trick or treating! During the event, kids can also take part in “Snoopy’s Costume Contest and Dance Party” and also visit the Camp Spooky Theatre to view “The Monsters are Coming, Charlie Brown”, a new Halloween show where everyone will be singing and dancing to all their favorite Halloween tunes. Kids of all ages can join in the fun with spooky karaoke and mask making at the “Monster Masquerade Ball Karaoke” or go Trick-or-Treating at Ghost Town where friendly ghosts deliver delicious treats. At the “Spooky Hollow Maze” kids will travel through a spooky forest with gigantic jack-o-lanterns and encounter a headless horseman! Cool, right?
During my visit, we (media) were also treated to a lunch, which by the way was delicious!
