Hey, guys! I had an extra busy weekend and this week has been a hectic one at work so I haven’t had the chance to update and post on the blog. Over the weekend, I made it to the We All Grow Summit and then to a special Head & Shoulders event on Sunday. There will be another post on the Summit hopefully this weekend, but for now, I wanted to share with you the Head & Shoulders event I went to. I was invited to the Head & Shoulders Instant Relief private styling session at the Juan Juan Salon in Beverly Hills along with other bloggers.
The day started off with breakfast, which was really good, and then a massage. After the hectic few days I had at the Summit, the massage was perfect. My body really needed it and it was heaven.
After my massage, I had a one-on-one session with makeup and hair artist, Stephanie Flor. She told me about Head & Shoulders’ new hair care line: Instant Relief. She told me about how the scalp is something we tend to not really pay attention to when taking care of our hair. She explained how the new scalp soother by Head & Shoulders was meant to condition our scalp. Shortly after, I got my hair washed and conditioned with the new Head & Shoulders products by one of the stylists. Prior to drying and styling my hair, the hair stylist sprayed the scalp soother on my scalp. It felt so good because it was like quenching a thirst. My scalp absolutely loved it!
Once that was done, they dried and styled my hair. I loved the way it looked! It was so full of volume and smelled so good. Before we left, we were given a goodie bag with some Head & Shoulders products as well as a gift card! Just a little FYI on the products. The day of the event and the subsequent days, my hair felt really soft, especially the roots. It also took longer for my roots to get oily (I have oily roots and dry ends). I absolutely loved the products. I actually use Head & Shoulders and have for years, but this specific line of products was even better than the one I use! Also, H&S isn’t only for when you have dandruff. It’s great to use year-round because it does your scalp and hair so much good. Definitely check them out.
