Welcome to my new section in the blog titled ‘Cafecito con Becky’ which translates to Coffee with Becky in Spanish!
It’s a new post that will go up every Monday morning so you can read it while you’re drinking your morning (or evening) coffee, hence the name. In this weekly post, I will be giving you a recap of what I did or what happened the week before so I can bring you up to date just in case you’re not following me on my social media accounts. It will be bits & pieces/highlights of my week. I hope you like the new section and that you enjoy reading it and look forward to it every week! With that said, here’s the first one.
Today is officially the first day of Summer and with that comes vacations!! Speaking of vacations, last week I got back from my beautiful island of Puerto Rico after spending a week vacationing there. I will be uploading several posts regarding the trip but if you follow me on social media, you might have already gotten a glimpse of it. Most of the insights went on my Snapchat (beckyboricua) so if you missed it, don’t worry because I downloaded them and will be uploading them to my YouTube channel! Subscribe so you don’t miss it! Because I was gone for a week, my inbox grew like no other so last week I basically tried catching up on emails.
Also wanted to mention that I opened a new Instagram account for my travels. You can follow me here. This new account will only be for pictures regarding my travels. When I’m traveling, most of the pics will go there as well as after the trip, so make sure to follow!
Last week I also attended my first blogger meet-up for South Florida Bloggers. I’ve been a member since I moved to Miami but hadn’t had the chance of making it to their monthly meetings. It took place at Duffy’s in North Miami Beach and the views from their outside patio are beautiful as you might have seen in my picture. We also had Gummy Bear Martinis which were delish! I had a great time meeting several new bloggers.
Last week I also got the 2016 Mazda Miata MX-5 Grand Touring to use for a week! It’s a convertible, so naturally my mom (who is in Miami visiting me) and I headed to Miami Beach to drive around. Pictures and experience with the car will be up in the coming weeks so stay tuned!
