¡Hola, hola! Welcome to another week’s edition of “Cafecito con Becky”! Make sure you’re comfortable and have your cafecito in hand because this is a long recap post; it was a very busy week!
Last week I headed to Orlando for the closing of the first leg of my friend Yandel’s US tour and decided to stay a few extra days to visit with friends and family, as well as hit the Disney parks as I usually do. I arrived on Sunday and that same night was the concert at the House of Blues in Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney). I went to the concert with my friend Fiorella and her sister and husband. Also accompanying me was my cousin and her husband. Because we were having such a blast, we forgot to take a picture together lol. We headed backstage to see Yandel and snap a few pics and then made our way to the concert.
The next day (Monday) before heading to the parks, I visited Yandel’s offices in Orlando. Here’s a photo tour of his personal office as well as the offices for Y Entertainment (his company).
After visiting the offices I made my way to Epcot which happens to be my favorite out of all the Disney Parks. I was in luck because the Food & Wine Festival was still going on so I got to enjoy that as well. That day also happened to be my 1 year anniversary of having moved from LA to Miami so I celebrated that as well!
On Tuesday I headed to Magic Kingdom and spent most of the day there. Christmas is my favorite holiday season especially at the Parks so I’m always excited to head back during this season because of the decorations. Before leaving at the end of the night I literally ran into my friend who happened to be at the same park without us knowing about it.
After leaving the park I visited with my family who lives in Orlando and they were waiting for me with food! Who can say no to food?! I ate and spent some time with them and then headed back to my hotel.
On Wednesday I was scheduled to leave Orlando and head back to Miami but I couldn’t do so without seeing my friend who also happens to be Yandel’s wife, Edneris. We had brunch and then I got back on the road to Miami.
Back in Miami on Thursday I had an event that night in downtown Miami. It was the 10th anniversary for my friends at República (an Advertising, Public Relations & Marketing Agency).
On Friday I met up with my friend Lia at The Salty Donut, a doughnut and coffee shop in Wynwood I had been wanting to check out for some time now. The donuts are amazing and the coffee as well! Make sure to check it out next time you’re in Miami. Heads up though, the shop closes once they sell out for the day so try to go early. Yes, there is always a line as well. After enjoying some donuts and coffee, we headed to a cute courtyard close by and had an impromptu photo shoot (those are the best).
Finally on Saturday I had a brunch with a few bloggers at Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ in Brickell. We had a great time with delicious food! Once we were headed out, we saw a beautiful wall that was begging for an impromptu photo shoot!
As you can see it was a very busy week with events practically every day so this week I have no plans but to rest. My dad gets in town from LA so I’ll be spending the week with him here. Besides that, I do have a brunch scheduled with a friend that will be in town, as well as a friend’s birthday party but that’s all. Make sure to come back next week for the full scoop!
Mi Becky, me encantó el Yandel-Tour, gracias a ti sentí que fui a lo de República y adoré tus fotos en jeans rotos y flat sandalias! What a week! Love, Enri
Becky!! Thank you for coming to our Saturday’s lunch! We had so much fun we still need to get out cafesito!
Wow girl you were busy lol. Thanks for sharing the pics of Epcot and of course Yandel’s concert & offices. I haven’t been to Epcot in years.
