Hola, hola!! Glad you’re back for another edition of “Cafecito con Becky”!
Last week was pretty much filled with last minute event invites! My friend Fiorella was in Miami from Orlando and I met up with her and her sister Daniella on Thursday. We brunched at a place I had been wanting to check out for a while now, Chocolate Fashion in Coral Gables. We had a great time chatting it up and we really enjoyed the food. Such yummy food so definitely check it out if you’re ever in the Miami area.
That same day but later in the afternoon I headed back to Coral Gables to Books & Books for celebrity stylist Irma Martinez‘s book launch. Prior to the event, I also had a chance to chat with her about her new book, El Manual del Estilista. The event was full of celebrity friends of Irma that attended to show their support. Scroll below to watch my chat with her.

On Friday night I got together with some fellow Boricua friends I’ve known for several years now. We actually met back when I lived in LA and they lived in Las Vegas. We met in Las Vegas on one of the years I made it to the city for the Latin GRAMMYs and have stayed in touch ever since. Several years later they moved to Miami, and less than 2 years after they moved, I also moved to Miami. We saw each other when I arrived last year but hadn’t had a chance to see each other again until now. We had a great time at dinner and then at a club/bar in Brickell along with some other friends. Judging by the time I got home (4am), I’d say we had a great time!
¡Que se repita pronto!
On Saturday I made it to the South Florida Bloggers monthly meet up in Coral Gables and I got to chat and see some of my favorite girls. I must admit that the bloggers in Miami have been very welcoming since my arrival to the city so any chance I get to see them, I take advantage. They have been more than wonderful to me and I love them. The beauty of Miami is that in this one picture you have a beautiful representation of the Dominican Republic, the Middle East (and a native Angeleno like me!), Cuba, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico & Mexico! Pretty cool, huh!

This week I have a brunch with a fellow blogger, a meeting with another one, a cocktail party, and an anniversary event. As usual, a last minute event can pop up as well so make sure you drop by next week to get all the details!
