Hey, guys! If you’ve been following along, you know that this is the second post regarding my San Francisco trip. If you haven’t read the first post, you can check it out here. When planning our trip, we decided that for our second day in San Francisco, we would visit Napa Valley to go wine tasting. That morning we visited La Boulange Bakery and I have to say it is one of the best bakeries I have eaten at! Highly recommended when in San Francisco; there are several locations. We even got to meet the founder of this chain of bakeries! That was pretty cool!
After breakfast, we were on our way to Napa Valley (about 1 1/2 away from SF). On our way there we passed through the Golden Gate Bridge; one of the seven wonders of the world! I love passing through that bridge! It was their first time visiting and passing through the bridge so they were excited! After taking a few pictures, we continued on our way.

Hola! Si han estado siguiendo mi blog, sabrán que éste es el segundo post sobre mi viaje a San Francisco. Si no has leído el primero, puedes leerlo aquí. Cuando estabamos planeando nuestro viaje, decidimos que para nuestro segundo día ahí, visitaríamos Napa Valley. Para los que no conocen, Napa Valley es una ciudad que queda como a hora y media de San Francisco en donde hay muchos viñedos que se pueden visitar para probar los vinos que producen ahí. Bueno, esa mañana fuimos a desayunar a una panadería francesa que se llama La Boulange Bakery (en San Francisco) y estaba riquísimo! Hasta nos tocó conocer al fundador de esa cadena de panaderías! Si algún día llegan a visitar San Francisco, tienen que ir a esa panadería!
Después de desayunar, seguimos nuestra camino hacia Napa Valley y de ida pasamos por el Golden Gate Bridge. Este puente es una de las siete maravillas del mundo, por lo tanto, es muy conocido mundialmente. Siempre que visito San Francisco, paso por ahí porque me encanta! Lo único malo es que muchas de las veces hay tanta neblina que no se puede apreciar el puente completo y en todo su esplendor como pasó esta vez. Aún así logramos tomar unas fotos. Era la primera vez que ellos visitan y pasaban por ese puente y les encantó! Después de unas cuantas fotos, retomamos la carretera hacia Napa Valley.
After about 1 1/2 hours on the road, we arrived at Domaine Carneros, the winery we would be visiting for our wine tasting. The views from the winery are beautiful because you can see Napa Valley all around. Although we didn’t get a chance to tour the vineyard, we did do the wine tasting. We spent about 3 hours there wine tasting, taking pictures and having fun conversations. I had a great time and still can’t believe I was wine tasting with Yandel!!! I mean, how surreal is that?! I am very much grateful to him, his family and friends for inviting me to join them. They are all great people and I am happy and consider it a privilege to be able to call them my friends. Here are some of the many pics I took that day. I also included a picture that I took while they were getting ready to take a family picture. I thought it was a beautiful moment and decided to capture it.

Después de casi hora y media de camino, por fin llegamos a Domaine Carneros, el viñedo en donde estaríamos probando los vinos hechos ahí. Estuvimos ahí compartiendo y degustando los vinos que ofrecen por alrededor de tres horas. Las vistas desde la casona eran bellas! Se podía ver el valle de Napa y pude sacar lindas fotos. Le agradezco mucho a Yandel, su familia y amigos el invitarme a compartir con ellos este día. Es algo que todavía no puedo creer! Me parece un sueño! Estoy muy agradecida y considero un privilegio poder llamarlos mis amigos. Aquí les incluyo unas cuantas fotos que tomé ese día incluyendo una de Yandel con su familia mientras se preparaban para tomar una foto en familia. Me pareció muy tierno el momento y quise plasmarlo en una foto.

After spending a lovely afternoon with friends, we left this beautiful place and headed back to San Francisco. We were tired and wanted to get a good night’s rest because the tour was set to start the next day so we had a busy day ahead of us.

Después de compartir entre amigos toda una tarde, nos despedimos de este bello lugar y emprendimos nuestro camino de regreso a San Francisco. Ya estabamos cansados y había que acostarse temprano porque la gira empezaría al día siguiente y nos esperaba un día largo y bien ocupado.
