Hey, guys! As previously mentioned, I had the opportunity to attend the We All Grow Summit a week ago and let me start off by saying it was an awesome learning and networking experience! I loved it much more than I thought I would. It was awesome finally getting to meet so many great women I had only heard of and some I had only interacted with via social media. Even better than that was getting to meet some women I admire and see as my role models in what I wish to accomplish in this life career wise. Their stories inspired and motivated me even more.
I will be breaking the Summit recap into three posts because I want to dedicate a post to the Neutrogena suite itself because it was so cool it deserves its own post!
The Summit kicked off with a Cocktail Reception on the pool deck of The LINE Hotel in the Koreatown area of Los Angeles. It was a great opportunity to mingle with fellow bloggers before the event officially started the next day. After the party, we called it a night as the next (long) day awaited us!

Day One:
The next day, we started bright and early with a breakfast brunch and then the panels. One of my favorite panels was the one titled, “Bringing the Social to Media” because it was so motivating and inspiring. The panel included Marinés Duarte from En Tus Zapatos Blog, Jeannette Kaplun from Hispana Global, Kika Rocha from De Tacones y Más, Andrea Minski from Mujer Balance, Gabriela Natale from Super Latina Show, and Alexys Gabrielle, journalist and TV host.
After a few panels and some networking time, we had our keynote lunch by Neutrogena. During lunch, we heard from Michelle Freyre, Neutrogena’s General Manager who happens to be a Latina; Puerto Rican, nonetheless (Cuban and Dominican parents)! Oh, and let me not forget to mention she attended Yale University and Harvard Business School! Inteligente, por de más! After she spoke for a few minutes, she introduced Mexican actress and singer, Eiza González, as the brand’s new ambassador! It was the first time they were unveiling the news and it was done at the Summit! As if that wasn’t enough, to our surprise, Eiza was there! There was later a Q&A session with both Michelle and Eiza moderated by Ana Flores. After lunch, Michelle and Eiza both headed to the Neutrogena Suite where I got to take a picture with Eiza! All in all, it was a great first day and I couldn’t wait to see what the Summit had in store for us the next day! Day Two of the Summit will be the next post, so stay tuned!

Hi, I follow a lot of Latina bloggers that attended this conference and it seemed really interesting and fun, but most of them are lifestyle/fashion/beauty bloggers. Do you think this type of conference would be beneficial for someone that runs a more professional-growth blog? I run a site for Latina lawyers that does talk about some lifestyle issues, but focuses heavily on succeeding in the law as a Latina. I would love to attend an event like this, but not sure if it would benefit my site, what do you think?
