As children, we have dreams of what we want to be when we grow up, and as we grow older, sometimes the dreams stay the same or they change a little. My dream started off as wanting to be a police officer, then changed to being a criminal attorney, then a detective, and then an investigator. Although the career itself changed, it always remained within the Criminal Justice System. That has always been my passion. I eventually studied and obtained a degree in Criminal Justice. Once I graduated, I wasn’t exactly sure what job I wanted to work in and despite many people suggesting I become a probation officer (preferably for juveniles), the more I looked into it, the more I wasn’t too sure about doing it. Time passed by and I needed to find a job so I entered into the auto insurance field as a Claims Special Investigator. It was okay but not exactly what I was looking for. I stayed there several years and then eventually entered the Health Care field as a Fraud Investigator for the Special Investigations Unit of a health care company. It fulfilled me at the beginning, but as time passed by, my real passion started to peek through.

As many of you know, I’ve worked with Latin Urban artists Wisin & Yandel for almost 9 years as the president of their official fan club and as part of their promotions team. As of almost 3 years ago, I’ve been working alongside Yandel, his management team and his label as part of his promotions team and president of his fan club as well. For those of you that wonder what that means, it means that I help promote his career, manage his fan club, and make sure the fans are up to date with everything that has to do with his career. I also go to his concerts and backstage as well as tour with him sometimes to give the fans a firsthand (inside) look into his career. Because of this, I’ve been to several tours, concerts, awards shows, video shoots, and after parties. After so many years in this industry as part of his team, I realized that the Latin Entertainment Industry is now my passion. I also realized that having more than one passion in your lifetime is possible.

I also started blogging almost 2 years ago and it opened me up to a whole new world which I also found to be my passion. For the last year or so I struggled with the idea of following my passion or staying where I was at. Should I go after what my heart truly wants or just stay where I am comfortably? Will I regret my decision when I’m older? Eventually something triggered inside of me and I realized this is my time. I made the decision to take the leap. Because of this, I will be moving to Miami to pursue my dreams and goals. I wanted to share this with all of you because I want all of you to join me in my adventure; my cross country move!

Besides the change in career, I also needed a change in city as well. I was born and raised in Los Angeles and while some people love it, it no longer played a role in my dreams or life. Los Angeles isn’t for me anymore and I’ve felt that way for several years now. I felt as if living here was hindering my dreams and goals which is why that was another reason I decided to make the move. I want to start a new life in a new place.

I recently resigned from my job as a fraud investigator and will be relocating to Miami next month. I’m very excited for this next chapter in my life. I was very scared like most people to drop something that’s secure and adventure into the unknown, but I realized as the passion grew stronger, that this was MY time. I’ve decided to just go for it. I know I’ll be okay.

I have many ideas of what I want to do but all I will say for now is that I will be entering into the Latin Entertainment Industry. Stay tuned for more information and follow along as I update you on my new adventure and my new life in MIAMI!!!!
