Most of us women know about and grew up with Infusium23, right? I remember during my junior high and high school years, they were pretty much the only products I used. I’ve always liked them because they’re economical and pretty good on the hair; it was sort of like an affordable luxury we could all give ourselves. Well, recently, Infusium23 restaged their formulas and debuted a sleek new packaging along with it. Because of this, I was excited and looking forward to checking them out to see how they differed from their previous formula which was already good to begin with.

Here is a little more information regarding the products:

Infusium23, the ‘problem-hair’ experts since 1924, has introduced restaged formulas for their Repair + Renew and Moisture Replenisher collections and a sleek new packaging redesign.

Repair + Renew with Keratin & Argan Oil boasts an advanced formula fortified with pro-vitamins, proteins and amino acids to strengthen hair and prevent damage.  This line now includes a fourth SKU – “Heat Tamer” which shields hair from the damaging effects of heat styling, leaving hair soft and shiny without oily residue.

Moisture Replenisher with Avocado & Olive Oil blends nourishing vitamins, minerals and antioxidants to maximize hydration for silky, healthy hair. This collection is best for taming frizz, moisturizing dry scalp and detangling. “Smoothing Creme” has also been added as a new product for those seeking a heavier leave-in treatment for reducing frizz and restoring shine without weighing hair down.

In addition to the restaged formulas, Infusium23’s packaging has received a redesign.  The silver color and sleek, yet feminine typography are off-set by silver foil. The bottle shape has evolved for increased shop-ability and each product category has a different cap to help consumers easily identify products.

I received the new restaged formula products in their new packaging from Infusium23 as you can see from the picture above. I tested them out and used them for a few weeks prior to giving you my thoughts on them.

Repair and Renew Shampoo Conditioner Leave-in

I received the Repair + Renew shampoo with argan oil & keratin, the Repair + Renew conditioner with argan oil & keratin and the Repair + Renew heat tamer with argan oil & keratin.

The shampoo and conditioner as well as the heat tamer smell really good!!! Their formula is even better than before and left my hair much more manageable. This collection was perfect for my hair which tends to be a little damaged and dry due to the dyes used in my hair at the salon.

MR Shampoo Conditioner Leave-in

I also received the Moisture Replenisher leave-in treatment with avocado & olive oil, and the Moisture Replenisher leave-in smoothing creme with avocado & olive oil.

The leave in treatment is one of their products that I used to love the most growing up because it’s what I used on my hair after washing it. It was great for my dry and frizzy hair. The new restaged formula is better! I also loved it because I don’t wake up with frizzy hair like I usually do when I don’t use it. It moisturizes my hair so the curls aren’t as frizzy in the morning. I have somewhat curly (more like wavy) hair and if I don’t use good products for my type of hair, I can wake up with frizzy hair instead of more defined curls like when I use these products. I only get similar results when using higher end, pricier products. The smoothing cream was also great. I used either/or after washing my hair.

The new packaging makes the products look fancier and I love that the products are still very affordable. The retail price range for the products is only $5.99 – $7.49 and are available at your local drugstore like they always have been. I definitely recommend these products. Check them out and let me know what you think!becky (2)Disclaimer: I received these products from Infusium23 for review purposes, but as usual, all opinions are my own.
