A couple of months ago we headed to Cancun for vacation and although this wasn’t my first time visiting, it was my parents’ first time in Cancun and I was more than happy and excited to show them around. My parents are one of my best travel buddies and we get along so well that I love traveling with them. While in Cancun, we made a day visit to Isla Mujeres which is a small island off of Cancun. Isla Mujeres is so small that the mode of transportation most used is a golf cart. Of course, there are vehicles but there are many motorcycles and golf carts because it’s the preferred method of transportation. Because of that, tourists/visitors can rent a golf cart to use during their stay in the island or for just a few hours. Last time I visited I rented one and had so much fun that I knew we had to get one this time around as well. We did and had a great time. After driving around for a while, we stopped to eat some homemade ice cream since it was so hot. At the end of the day, we returned our golf cart and took the ferry back to Cancun. Here are some snapshots from our day in the island.
