As you guys might recall, I traveled to Mexico last month for vacation and I’m slowly (but surely) posting about it. With my move and all, I’ve been really busy but I’ve been trying to get back to posting regularly. You might remember I uploaded the post detailing all about my visit to the Frida Kahlo museum and I have a few more posts, but for now, I’ll leave you with this one. Here are some pictures I snapped while visiting Mexico City. All in all I spent about 3 full days in CDMX because a day after arriving, we flew to Oaxaca, came back after a few days and a day after left again for Guanajuato and Querétaro and after several days, came back to CDMX to fly back to LA the next day. CDMX is one of my favorite cities in the world and I love visiting it frequently even if it’s only for a few days. I also have family from my dad’s side that lives there so we always visit them as well. One fun fact I learned this time around was that “el DF” is no longer referred to as such since it is no longer a Federal District (Distrito Federal). It has now been renamed CDMX. Enjoy the pics!
Como recordarán, recientemente viajé a México de vacaciones y poco a poco estoy subiendo las entradas al blog sobre mi viaje. Con lo de mi mudanza (a Miami), he estado bien ocupada, pero estoy tratando de volver a publicar con regularidad. Una entrada que sí logré subir fue la de mi visita al museo de Frida Kahlo y tengo un par de entradas más que subiré, pero por ahora, los dejo con éste. Estas son algunas de las fotos que tomé durante mi visita a la Ciudad de México. En total fueron pocos los días que estuve en CDMX ya que al día siguiente de llegar, volamos a Oaxaca, estuvimos ahí unos días y luego regresamos para volver a irnos el día siguiente a Guanajuato y Querétaro. Después de varios días allá, regresamos a CDMX sólo para volar de regreso a Los Ángeles al día siguiente. CDMX es una de mis ciudades favoritas en el mundo y me encanta visitarla cada vez que puedo aunque sea por unos días. También tengo familia por parte de mi papá que vive allá, así que también aprovechamos y los visitamos. Algo curioso que aprendí en este viaje es que “el DF” ya no se refiere a sí mismo como tal ya que ya no es un Distrito Federal. Se le cambió el nombre y ahora es conocido como CDMX.
