A few weekends ago, my friend and I decided last minute to head down to San Diego (less than a 2 hour drive from LA) because we wanted to check out The Flower Fields in Carlsbad before the 2015 season ended on May 10. Prior to making it down there, we stopped in Dana Point for breakfast and stumbled upon a beach there as well as a cliff that had some beautiful views of that beach.

After taking in the view and snapping a few pics, we continued on our way to Carlsbad for The Flower Fields.

Since we finished earlier than expected and it was still early in the day, we continued our drive to San Diego and Coronado Island.

San Diego is definitely one of my favorite cities in California and one I always love visiting even if it is only for a day. Hope you enjoyed the pics and if you’re ever in LA, definitely make the drive down to San Diego, you’ll love it!
