Hey, guys! For this post, I wanted to share my every day makeup routine. I don’t know about you, but I’m always in a hurry in the mornings when going to work and don’t have time to sit there and apply makeup for 30 minutes, I’d rather sleep those extra minutes! I’m sure some moms and working women can relate, which is why I decided to do this post. The process usually takes me about 5 minutes. Let me know what your makeup routine is and if you gave this one a try. Here it is, enjoy!

Besos, Becky!

Step 1: Foundation/tinted moisturizer/BB cream

(I’m going to bypass the cleansing and prep instructions because this post is only on the actual makeup done. If you’d like me to post my morning routine, let me know).

I use a BB cream for daily use because foundation isn’t that great for your skin on a daily basis. The BB cream I use is the Lumene Vitamin C+ BB Illuminating Anti-Age BB Cream SPF 20-02 Medium ($15.99 at select drugstores-purchased mine at Walgreens). Apply the foundation, tinted moisturizer or BB cream you use all over your face and bring down past your jawline so you don’t get that weird looking line where your face is one color and your neck is another. Although that shouldn’t happen regardless because you should be getting a color closest to your actual skin tone. Tinted moisturizers and BB creams can usually be applied with your fingers. If you use a foundation, a damp beauty sponge or brush works best.

Step 2: Concealer

Apply concealer to your under-eye area as well as to any imperfections that are still visible. For my under-eye area, I use the Garnier-Youthful Radiance Anti-Dark Circles Roll-On Concealer ($11.99 at any drugstore). Concealer can be applied with your finger or a sponge. I don’t really like using a brush for the concealer.

Step 3: Powder

Apply powder to your face and extend past your jawline. I use the Pür 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup ($27.00 at Sephora or Ulta). I apply it with a brush and not a powder puff.

Step 4: Eyeliner and mascara

Apply eyeliner either to the inside of your lash line or lash line (eyelid). Since this is for every day makeup, I apply it to the inside of my lash line because applying it otherwise takes longer as you need to make sure it’s straight and that the wings match. Because I apply it to the inside of my lash line, I use a pencil. I use the L’Oreal Extra-Intense Carbon Black Liquid Pencil Eyeliner ($9 at any drugstore). Then apply a mascara. I use the L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara ($8 at any drugstore). If you don’t like using eye liner, you can skip it, but don’t skip the mascara, it helps a lot and makes a huge difference.

Step 5: Lipstick/lip gloss/tinted balm

Finish with a lipstick, lip gloss or tinted balm, whichever one you prefer. I alternate between products every day, but the one I use the most is the MAYBELLINE Baby Lips Lip Balm-Pink Shock ($2.99 at any drugstore).

Hope this helps!
