I recently received a tube of mascara from POP SUGAR in collaboration with Sephora to test out and review. The trick is that it is referred to as the mystery mascara because they don’t tell you what brand or what the name of the mascara is. The point is to try it out and review it prior to the name/brand of the mascara being revealed on February 2nd!

The mascara wand/brush is thin and straight so I wasn’t sure how well it would work in curling the lashes. Surprisingly, because of the thin wand/brush, it is able to get into the edges of the lashes (both upper and lower) and really separate and elongate them. The mascara also makes your lashes look more voluminous. I really like this mascara because of how long and open it makes my eyelashes look. I would however, just suggest not globbing it on because if you add too much, it can clump together, just like every other mascara out there. This is a mascara I would definitely consider purchasing once POP SUGAR and Sephora announce the brand. Totally recommended! Here are a few pics of my makeup look overall and a closeup of the lashes so you can judge for yourself. Please note that these are my natural lashes. No fake eyelashes were used, nor were my eyelashes curled prior to applying the mascara.
