Hola, hola! For this post, I wanted to share with you my nighttime skincare routine. To some it might seem a little long, but as women, we have to take care of our skin, especially our face early on in order to avoid getting wrinkles too early in life. Here are the steps I do every night before going to sleep along with pictures of the products I use. Let me know in the comments what your nighttime skincare routine is.

Besos, Becky!

FsN312-2-500x5001. Remove all makeup

I use the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes (about $4.99 at any drugstore) because after having tried several different brands, I find this one to be the most effective one in getting all of my makeup off especially when I have heavy makeup around the eyes. Use it to remove your eye makeup and then wipe the towelette all around your face and neck to remove all traces of makeup.

2. Cleanse

For this step, the products vary because I alternate between 3 products. It depends on what I decide to use that night. One of them is the Freeman Feeling Beautiful Facial Anti-Stress Mask, Dead Sea Minerals (about $3.99 at any drugstore) which you leave on for a few minutes and then rinse off with warm water. I also use the Neutrogena Wave Sonic Spinning Power-Cleanser-detailed in a previous post (about $19.99 at any drugstore) and the Jean Pierre Cosmetics Facial Exfoliating Scrub (I got it for $4.99 at Marshalls). The exfoliator should be used once or twice a week in order to not dry out your skin too much. Whichever one you decide to use, cleanse your whole face and neck to get rid of any oil, dirt or makeup left on your face that the towelette didn’t get rid of.

3. Moisturize

For this step, I use the L’Oreal Youth Code-Texture Perfector Serum Concentrate (about $19.99 at any drugstore)  and the L’Oreal Youth Code-Texture Perfector Day/Night Cream (about $19.99 at any drugstore). They are meant to be used together to obtain better results. These two products were detailed in a previous post. After you have cleansed your face, you apply the serum first and then the cream to your face and neck. For nighttime, it is best to use a heavy cream which is specially formulated for wrinkles because during the night is when your skin absorbs the most and when you can get the most out of it. For the eye cream, I use Desert Essence, Organics Facial Care, Age Reversal, Pomegranate Eye Serum (I got it for $7.99 at Marshalls). Apply to the complete eye area including the eyelid.

4. Lips

Finally, for my lips, I use the EOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balm in Passion Fruit (about $2.99 at any drugstore). I love this lip balm because it smells yummy and really  moisturizes my lips. It comes in a variety of colors and flavors!
