Hey, guys! For this post I wanted to review some mineral makeup I started using several weeks ago. I decided to try out mineral makeup because I have combination/oily skin and I had been told it was better for the skin. I went to Ulta and asked one of the employees to help me out. The girl told me they had the Bare Minerals and PURminerals. She said she personally didn’t like Bare Minerals because the Titanium Dioxide in it causes the flash in the camera/phone to react against the ingredient, which in turn causes your face to look white in pictures. She then recommended PURminerals (which doesn’t contain Titanium Dioxide) and asked me if I wanted a makeover. She applied the foundation and the pressed powder and I absolutely loved the results! My skin looked so clear and smooth, yet had great (full) coverage. Needless to say, I purchased them both! For the next few weeks I kept using them, although I use the pressed powder on a daily basis, I only use the foundation on the weekends because I tend not to use too much makeup on a daily basis because I like to let my skin breathe. Besides that, the foundation has full coverage and I like to have less coverage on a daily basis. Overall opinion? I really like this line of mineral makeup. It’s actually cleared my skin a little and gives it a great appearance. I plan on going back to Ulta to check out their whole makeup line; upcoming review on those, too. This one is definitely a yea! Have you tried mineral makeup? Do you use it on a regular basis? Do you like it? Let me know in the comments below. Note that Sephora does not carry this line of makeup. I went this past weekend and decided to check out the rest of the makeup line and was surprised to learn they don’t carry it.

Besos, Becky!
