Christmas season is in full bloom and I must admit that it is my favorite time of the year, not only because it’s Christmas but because my birthday falls in this month as well, the 20th to be exact. If you’re wondering, no I never had that “you’re only getting one present for both your birthday and Christmas” thing. I’ve been blessed with a wonderful family that has always given me a birthday and a Christmas gift while growing up and it still happens ’till this day. As much as I love this season, being away from my family in LA, makes me sad when I can’t go back home with family for the season and my birthday. Last year I was fortunate enough to spend almost the whole month of December at home in LA with my family but this year I won’t be able to. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I won’t be able to travel to LA as I had originally planned. I’ll be spending it in Miami but thankfully my mom will be visiting me to spend my birthday and the holiday season with me, but I will miss my dad and my sister who will be staying back in LA.

Nonetheless, I will try to make the best of it which is why this year I decided to decorate my apartment again since I didn’t do it last year because I wasn’t here. I shared a picture on Instagram of my living room and a lot of people loved it and asked me about it which is why I decided to take a few more pics of my decorations and share them with you. Note that I didn’t buy any new decorations this year; I used all of the decorations from two years ago so you might not be able to find them anymore, but I’ll tell you anyway where I purchased it all. Also, it’s all affordable because I don’t like to spend too much on the decorations unless I find something I really love and can’t do without. By the way, none of the decorations were over $25! Let me know what you think or if you have any other questions!
