This past weekend I made it out to Knott’s Berry Farm for their Summer Media Event and want to share the pics with you. I hadn’t been to Knott’s since like junior high or high school so I was excited to go back.

After checking in, we headed to get some coffee because right after that, we’d be heading to check out the newest show in the park. I was excited to find out that Knott’s now serves Starbucks coffee and even more that they had a boysenberry latte that apparently is exclusive to the park! Yup, that’s what I ordered along with a lemon boysenberry bundt cake. Both were DELICIOUS!!!!! Definitely, give them a try when you visit the park!

Boysenberry latte and bundt cakeAfter enjoying our treats, we made our way to check out the park’s new Summer show, Blockbuster Beagle!…on iceI loved this show! The music and the ice show itself were so cute! It’s all about how Snoopy and his Peanuts buddies go to “Hollywood”. The show features songs about California and I must say they’re all great songs! You must check it out when visiting the park, especially considering that it only runs for the Summer until August 23 (no shows on Wednesdays)!

After the show, we headed to the buffet lunch that Knott’s had in store for us! The food didn’t disappoint! It was DELICIOUS! Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, salad, corn, and bread! They also had ice cream for us as well as soft drinks. The berry punch is a must! It’s really good but not too sweet which was perfect for my taste!

After lunch, we headed back to the park to enjoy the rest of the day. We had front line passes so I knew I had to take advantage and ride as much as I could. I don’t like roller coasters (yea, I’m scared of them!) so I can’t really tell you how those were, but I did want to check out the Calico Mine Ride and their new Voyage to the Iron Reef Ride. The Calico Mine Ride and the Log ride have always been some of my favorites at the park and I realized this time around, that I still love them. The new Voyage to the Iron Reef ride is pretty cool, too! It is their latest addition to the park; it just opened last month. They can describe it better than I can: “it is an interactive 4-D ride that features ten interactive scenes filled with menacing sea creatures and many hidden surprises that react to the accuracy of the freeze blasters controlled by the guests on board. Every rider earns a score, which makes every trip to the Iron Reef a competitive, repeatable adventure”.

The Boardwalk Arcade located beneath the Voyage to the Iron Reef ride recently re-opened as well with revamped popular video, redemption, and merchandise games. Loved everything! You definitely have to check out all of it this Summer!

Make sure you visit Knott’s and check out their new additions this Summer! Oh, and before you leave, head on over to the Knott’s Marketplace and try their boysenberry cronuts! #NewAtKnotts
