Wearing white pants can be tricky because the color can bring out any “imperfections” you have on your legs and/or butt area (e.g. the much dreaded cellulite) that we don’t really want to showcase. Some people tend to stay away from white pants for that same reason. Because of that, I don’t do white pants, but white jeans I can do. The difference? I think it’s because the material tends to be thicker than white pants so it tends to mask the “imperfections” a little more.

Tip: When buying white pants, make sure you get them fitted and not loose or tight. Loose pants will make you look bigger and tight pants will basically put all of your “imperfections” on display every time you walk.

Side note: Kinda bummed about my purse. I didn’t store it properly which is why it looks kinda wrinkled. Lesson learned.

For some strange reason, I also feel that white jeans tend to make my legs look slimmer, and who doesn’t want that? I bought these jeans at JCPenney and they happen to fit me perfectly, hugging my curves in all the right places (ahem, my butt) but not to the point where they look glued on to my legs.

Yesterday was extremely hot in LA; it was like 100 degrees, so the weather called for light and airy clothes which is why I paired the jeans with this flowery top (also from JCP). This outfit was a great buy at JCPenney as everything was on sale. And who doesn’t love a sale?! Proof that you don’t have to break the bank to put a whole outfit together.
