With my impending move to Miami, I decided to visit a few of the places in Southern California that I love and am going to miss when I leave. I originally had this trip planned but when I knew I’d be getting the 2016 Kia Sorento to check out, I figured it would be perfect for this trip.

We started off with a trip to Disneyland, because who doesn’t love Disneyland?!

The next day we headed to discover Downtown LA!

For the next two days, we headed down to San Diego, one of my favorite cities in California. During our stay in San Diego, we also visited Coronado Island where we stayed at a beautiful hotel that had an amazing view!

On our way back from San Diego, the Kia Sorento also took us to do some shopping at Irvine Spectrum where we also watched a movie; Sicario – a must watch!

As you can see, we were all over the place and it was nice to have the Kia Sorento to drive us all around. The 2016 Kia Sorento I had for that week was fully loaded and considered a luxury SUV, which retails at about $48,000 but it’s totally worth it (the base model starts at about $24,000). I currently have an SUV but this Sorento was AWESOME!!!! So many features that I loved using during those days. I absolutely loved the camera in the vehicle because not only is it for the rear-view but it also allows you to see the vehicle from a bird’s-eye view! It’s great for making sure you’ve parked perfectly. The vehicle was also equipped with satellite radio which we made good use of! I also loved the fact that the vehicle had a moon roof! The Sorento is so roomy because it has a third row of seats that can be folded down to make the trunk larger. You can either fold each seat individually or both of them. The vehicle also has rear air conditioning which can be controlled by your rear passengers. The back seat/second row also has a USB port AND an actual outlet to charge your devices! How cool is that?! No more excuses about your phone’s battery dying! I really liked the feature that the side mirrors have that they alert you when a vehicle is in your blind spot. Sometimes you want to switch lanes and check to see if there are any vehicles but can easily miss one in your blind spot. This feature avoids that. The Sorento drives so smooth and is pretty good on gas. If I wouldn’t have gone to San Diego, I probably wouldn’t have had to pump gas! It’s really great on gas considering it’s a large SUV. This model also had leather seats and the driver and passenger seats have the ability to be heated or cooled depending on what you want. I fell in love with the 2016 Kia Sorento and am strongly considering getting it for myself when the lease on my current vehicle is up. If you’re looking for an SUV or minivan that isn’t a gas-guzzler and is stylish, definitely consider the Kia Sorento. Check out the pictures of the vehicle we had for a week.

*Special thanks to Kia for letting me drive this vehicle for a week to enjoy a few sights in California!*
