Hola from Los Angeles!! Welcome to another week and another edition of “Cafecito con Becky”

Last week I arrived in LA for a week with an agenda full of coffee and dinner dates with friends I wanted to catch up with while in the city. I will be uploading a full post on my week in LA but for now will give you a small recap. Although I originally intended to document my week on Snapchat and Instastories, the truth is I was having such great conversations with my friends and was so into the moment that I didn’t even look at my phone. Felt good to disconnect from my phone at least for a few hours last week to have real in-person conversations; something so rare nowadays.

During that week my parents and I headed down to Tijuana and spent a day there. I was particularly craving (and “needing”) a mulita. Not just any mulita. A mulita from a specific place in TJ. There’s a small taco place we’ve been visiting for years and they make the best mulitas ever! For those of you that don’t know what a mulita is, it is two corn tortillas stuffed with your choice of meat in between as well as beans, cheese and onions & cilantro, and of course, salsa/chile. You can add or change as you please, but this is what it essentially consists of. More on our visit to Tijuana in an upcoming full post.

The famous mulita!!!

The next day my dad left for Mexico as planned; we’d be following later. The remainder of that week I met with friends to catch up since my move to Miami almost 9 months ago.

Happy girl because I was reunited with my favorite iced coffee from Peet’s Coffee! I miss it when I’m in Miami since this coffee shop doesn’t exist out there. Not gonna lie, I’ve had a few to make up for lost time.

Later in the week I headed to the Daddy Yankee VS Don Omar concert once again but this time in LA (you might recall I also did the Miami concert a few weeks ago) with my long-time friends, Irma and Elizabeth! We had a blast singing and dancing. We LOVE Daddy Yankee! 14138785_10154133616298001_2252946636890897494_o

At the concert I also caught up with my friend, Zaira.

Couldn’t miss having brunch with my soul sister, Karla. You might remember her from my last post since she just recently visited me in Miami.

Also had a late-night coffee date with my girl, Victoria.

This week I will continue my vacation but in Mexico! I will be having lunch with another friend today before I leave for Mexico on Tuesday. Make sure to follow along on Instastories and Snapchat to know where I’ll be headed in Mexico and to follow my adventure! This I will for sure be documenting and you don’t want to miss it! More updates on next week’s edition of “Cafecito con Becky”. Have a great week!

¡Hasta la próxima!
