Hello from a chilly Los Angeles and welcome to another week’s edition of Cafecito con Becky!
Last week on Sunday, I met with a few of my friends in Miami to celebrate my birthday and Christmas since a few of us would be out of the city for the Holidays. I would be heading to LA, my friend Franchesca would be heading out to the Dominican Republic (her home country), and my other friend Ingrid would be heading to Guatemala (her home country) so we decided to celebrate a few days in advance.
On Tuesday, I met with Latin Urban singer Gadiel (Yandel’s brother) to interview him on his latest single and music video. We got together at a Peruvian restaurant named Dr. Limón here in Miami and chatted about his career over some delicious Peruvian food. You can watch the interview here.
Wednesday was packed with events. I first headed over to the Rebel 11 Studios here in Miami to meet with my friend Héctor Rubén for a special project that I am working on and will soon be sharing with all of you. For now, here are a few pictures from that day. More details soon!
Later that day, I headed to Patacón Pisaó, a delicious Colombian restaurant here in the Doral area of Miami. As media we were invited to taste a little of everything on their menu and OMG was it delicious! Some of the best food I’ve tasted. A full review will be coming soon but for now here are some of the pics from that day.
Later that night I met with a few of my friends one last time before I headed to LA. We had dinner and some wine at Grazziano’s Market, a delicious Argentinean restaurant in Doral.
On Friday, I left for LA and will be here for 3 weeks to spend my birthday and the Holidays with friends and family. Not sure if I’ll have time to post, but if I don’t, you can always follow along on my Instagram accounts here and here.
