Hey, guys!!! As you read in my previous post, I went to Arizona for Memorial Day weekend and wanted to share my trip with you. In this post, I will detail my visit to Scottsdale.

We arrived on Saturday afternoon in Phoenix and from there went to the resort we would be staying at in Tempe (about 15 minutes from Phoenix-will detail in another post) and after checking-in, we left to get something to eat. We drove to Old Town Scottsdale, which is also about 15-20 minutes from Phoenix and after checking the reviews on Yelp, we decided to eat at Rehab Burger Therapy, which did not disappoint! The burger was delicious!!!

After eating, we decided to walk around Historic Old Town Scottsdale and snap a few pictures along the way. Old Town Scottsdale is a town reminiscent of the Old West which has local shops and restaurants, as well as art galleries. Here are a few pictures so you can see for yourself.

Besides Old Town Scottsdale, there is also Downtown Scottsdale which has luxury apartment homes and exclusive shopping centers such as Fashion Square, which is an upscale, luxury shopping center which boasts in being one of the largest shopping centers in the country. There is another area known as 5th Avenue which also has shops and restaurants. When we visited this area, we were already craving coffee (we’re addicted to coffee!) so we started checking Yelp and sure enough found a coffee shop that looked promising, Cartel Coffee Lab. We were not disappointed; the iced vanilla latte was really good!

After we walked around and drove a little bit more, we went back to our hotel and called it a night because we had to wake up early the next morning for our trip to Sedona (will detail in another post). Hope you guys enjoyed this little tour through Scottsdale and that it encouraged you to visit if you’re ever in Phoenix! Stay tuned for my next posts!
