A few weeks ago I was invited by Discover the Palm Beaches to spend a day in Boca Raton, Florida along with a few other bloggers to discover what the city had to offer. I was very excited to be a part of this trip because as you all know, I’m still new to South Florida and I’m trying to discover new places to visit. You guys know I love traveling, but finding hidden gems in your own backyard can be so much fun as well especially when you don’t have much time. I had previously visited Boca Raton because a friend of mine lives there, but I had only visited her house, I hadn’t had the chance to discover its beaches or resorts.

We had so much fun that day and we all got along so well which is why it was so easy to have a blast. We did so much that day and since we had a professional photographer with us, there are tons of great pictures which is why I decided to break that day into a few posts.

We arrived that morning at the Boca Raton Resort & Club and once we were all there, we were escorted to their Beach Club to enjoy a breakfast brunch.

With fellow bloggers Ria Michelle, Ky Jade, and Christina Nicholson (who’s also half Boricua!).

Once we finished our yummy breakfast, we headed down to the beach for our individual photo shoot. This was my second professional photo shoot ever and both of them have been done here in Miami. I’m not a fashion blogger so I’m not used to professional photo shoots but I’m learning to do things outside of my comfort zone in order to enjoy new adventures. With such a great photographer like Jen Scott, it was easy to feel comfortable and just follow her instructions. Yes, I needed instructions because I had no idea what to do. The beach was absolutely gorgeous which made for beautiful pictures.

After our photo shoot, we made our way back up to the Beach Club and headed off to see the city. Our first stop would be Mizner Park. More on that stop, what we did there, and many more pictures on my next post in this series.

Big THANK YOU to Discover the Palm Beaches for the awesome day we had. Stay tuned for the following posts! You don’t want to miss them!
